Gentle Yoga & Writing in Lotus

First Thursday of the month

Cost: 1 Credit

This guided yoga and writing session will be offered on the first Thursday of each month.  The class will begin with Gentle Yoga where postures are practiced gently and slowly with a combination of moving and stillness accompanied by ambient music. In the second portion of the class, your guide will offer grounding exercises, short readings, and writing prompts followed by a time for free writing. At the end of the session, there will be space for a check-in and option to share writing and/or experiences. Please bring a journal and pen or other materials for the writing portion of the session.


Studio Information

This class is held in Lotus Studio at 16 ½ N. 1st Ave. W, on the 2nd floor

Virtual Attendance

This class is offered in-person only; no virtual attendance.

What to Bring

All props are provided, including mats, blocks, cushions, blankets, and bolsters. You are also welcome to bring any personal items that support your comfort.

Parking

You can use the Park Duluth app to easily pay for street meters. Other nearby parking options include:

  • Public lot at 108 W 1st St.

  • Tech Village ramp at 14 E 1st St.

  • Holiday Inn ramp at 200 W 1st St.

Cancellation Policy

Your class pass is non-refundable and never expires. If you can't make it to class, please de-register in advance to keep your credit. No-shows who do not de-register will forfeit their credit.
