Pillar I: Yoga Fundamentals & The Eight Limbs

Deepen Your Practice. Share Your Wisdom.

Our 200-hour training begins with a return to the roots. To share Yoga with others, we must first establish a firm foundation in the "Royal Yoga" (Raja Yoga)—a path of self-mastery and internal peace.

In this pillar, we bridge the gap between ancient theory and practical, everyday application. You won't just memorize sutras; you will learn how to live them.

Core Areas of Study:

  • The Eight Limbs of Raja Yoga: A comprehensive exploration of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, offering a path toward wholeness through ethical disciplines, physical practice, and meditative absorption.

  • Philosophy & Lineage: Understand where Yoga comes from and how its philosophical heartbeat remains vital in our contemporary world.

  • Anatomy & Alignment: A trauma-conscious approach to physical postures (Asana). We study the mechanics of the body to ensure your teaching is safe, inclusive, and sustainable for every unique structure.

  • Embodied Application: Move beyond the textbook. We focus on practical labs where you practice cuing, sequencing, and finding your authentic voice as a guide.

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” — The Bhagavad Gita
