A Sensory Journey into the Wisdom of October

Join us for a seasonal immersion designed to connect your heart with the deep medicine of October.  In our time together, we open our senses, taste and smell herbal remedies and apply our insights for a greater state of health in our body, mind and spirit.

In October, we focus on roots, fruits of the forest, aromatic resins and the ever green.  By opening our senses to the messages the plants convey, we begin to understand their unique virtues and how to naturally integrate their healing qualities into our daily routines.

What the Series Includes:

  • Sensory Exploration: Experience the plants firsthand by tasting, smelling, and feeling into their true nature.

  • Intuitive Connection: Learn to receive the simple, powerful messages plants offer for our well-being.

  • Practical Remedies: Apply seasonal plant wisdom to your own constitutional makeup.

  • Nourishing Atmosphere: In each session we can expect light movement, comfort and immersion with plants through teacups and herbal remedies.

Meet Your Guide

Angela Krick (she/her)

Angela has spent the last fifteen years cultivating connection with plants in the gardens, the wild and over the hearth.

She believes in good health through traditional healing and basic routines.  Her journey with herbs and foods began with vegetable fermentation in South Korea and it evolved into a lifelong study of herbalism, permaculture and gardening in Minnesota with her family.

A dedicated student of nature, Angela has completed coursework with the Matthew Wood Institute of Herbalism, Sajah Popham’s Evolutionary Herbalism, Paul Bergner’s Food for Optimal Health, Women’s Health Courses with Phyllis Light and Isla Burgess, Empowered Herbalism with Chanchal Cabrera and studies continuously through contemporary herbalists and healing modalities.  Her practice emphasizes rhythm, intuition, information through our senses and the foundational pieces to feeling whole and well.  Angela believes health is dynamic and encourages others to reclaim their well-being by tuning into the natural world.  One can catch Angela, Ted, and their three children hiking the trails, enjoying the gardens of Duluth and on the water.
