EMILY CHRISTENSON
This session will open with a spirit-led inspirational talk exploring the power of our soul, creativity, and Spirit, and how we can better understand and access this sacred place within us. We'll reflect on how reconnecting with this inner wellspring can transform our lives, deepen our authenticity, and nurture our sense of purpose.
From there, we will move into a live, experiential drumming meditation designed to guide us into an altered state of awareness. Through rhythm and vibration, we’ll reconnect and awaken to this inner power, spending time in gratitude, trust, and communion with the wisdom of our own sacred, creative self.

JULIE VENUS
In this session, we’ll begin by settling into comfortable positions in the space, using props as needed to support your body and create ease. Together, we’ll explore the ancient roots of metta—the practice of lovingkindness meditation. Julie will share her personal journey of discovering and rediscovering this transformative practice, offering insights into its depth and simplicity.
From there, you’ll be gently guided through a lovingkindness meditation, inviting silent phrases of warmth and compassion to flow toward yourself and others. The practice encourages openness to whatever thoughts or emotions arise in the present moment, allowing space for reflection and healing. Following the meditation, there will be an optional opportunity to share your experiences in a safe and welcoming environment, should you feel inspired to do so.
-
The Rejuvenation Room & Meditation Space will be open throughout the entire conference as a place for quiet rest, reflection, and restoration. This silent space offers a peaceful retreat whenever you need to step away and simply breathe. You’ll find it set up in the apartment next door to the Lotus Studio.

DEEP REST
How long have you carried the weight of the world on your shoulders
fueled by the adrenaline of your own resilience
How much armor have you built up around your being
inside your own beautiful body
this tightly spun tension to survive the world
How often have you pulled yourself up by your own bootstraps
been applauded, awarded, admired for your strength
How many ways do you quiet the whispers of knowing
ignore the powerful ancient cry of deep rest
momma bear spirit within, wise grandmother ancestors,
healers, heart of creation
You do not only have to be resilient
You do not only need to survive
You do not have to be strong all of the time
You are enough just as you are
May you lay your sweet head down for a while
return to the Mother of us all
be carried on her warm, strong back
You are worthy of care
allow yourself to be held
draw from this deep well of peace
You deserve to be
filled with this primal love
protected
your life depends on it
This is the resistance
This is the revolution
